I'm a professional fashion photographer based in the UK. I was born and grew up in Liverpool during the 1970s. I originally discovered photography in the 1980s, but went to University and studied politics and economics. After a successful career in business and marketing I moved into fashion photography in 2006.
I now shoot exclusively in digital. I love the freedom that digital gives me. It's great for experimenting, for example with lighting and viewing instantly the results with the client.
Digital has changed the way I work with a client. The process is more interactive, organic and the results more dramatic.
I shoot in medium format using Contax and Fuji cameras with a phase-one digital back.
